About the game
Five letters, one word, six tries: a free five-letter word game in your browser with no sign-up and no download. Tap Word of the day and the round starts at once. Everyone gets the same word, and it changes at midnight Moscow time, so there is a fresh puzzle every morning.
A green tile means the letter is in the right place, a yellow tile means the letter is in the word but in another spot, and a grey tile means the letter is not there at all. The keyboard gets the same colours, and repeated letters are counted by what remains: if the answer has two A letters, a third one will not turn green.
After the daily word, endless mode opens: play as many rounds as you like without immediate repeats. Progress is saved after every letter, so you can close the game and continue from the same row. The day streak and the win distribution by tries help you follow your own results, while Share the result builds a coloured emoji grid without the answer — show friends how the round went without spoiling the word.
The game speaks Russian and English, each with its own dictionary and keyboard. A hint reveals one correct letter and does not use a try; it is always optional.
How to play:
1. Tap Word of the day or Endless mode on the first screen.
2. Type a five-letter word on the on-screen or computer keyboard and press Enter.
3. Read the colours: green means the letter is in the right place, yellow means it is elsewhere in the word, grey means it is absent.
4. Watch repeated letters: you cannot get more green and yellow marks for a letter than the answer contains.
5. After a win or the sixth wrong try, the result screen shows the word, your tries, the streak and the distribution.
6. On the result screen tap Share the result — the emoji grid shows the round without the answer. Then play again or return to the menu.

How to play
Five Letters is a word-guessing game: find the five-letter word in six tries. Type any real five-letter word and press Enter. A tile turns green if the letter is in the right place, yellow if it is in the word but somewhere else, and grey if the word doesn't have it. The keyboard gets the same colours, and repeated letters are counted fairly: an extra third A won't turn green if the answer has only two.
The word of the day is the same for everyone and changes at midnight Moscow time, so there is a new puzzle every morning. After it, endless mode opens — play as many rounds as you like. Your day streak and win distribution are saved, and Share the result builds a coloured emoji grid without the answer, so you can show friends without spoiling the word. The game has Russian and English dictionaries and is free with no sign-up.
Controls
Phone: type on the on-screen keyboard, Enter checks the word, the arrow key erases a letter.

A hint reveals one correct letter and doesn't use a try — it's optional.

Tips
- Open with a word that has common and different letters — vowels like A, E, O and consonants like R, T, N, S.
- On your second try, test new letters instead of moving the ones you found: two tries then tell you about ten letters.
- A yellow letter rules out its spot — don't put it there again, try it in the other cells instead.
- Don't reuse grey letters from the keyboard, so you don't waste tries: every try should test something new.
- Remember that letters can repeat — if options run out, try a double letter.
- Come back for the word of the day every day: the streak breaks if you skip even a single day.
