Mahjong is a tile-matching puzzle: clear the board by removing pairs of identical tiles. Play mahjong online for free, with no sign-up, and pick one of two modes in the menu.

Mahjong solitaire is the classic: tiles are stacked in layers, and a pair can go when nothing lies on top of either tile and each has a free left or right side. Every game uses a new layout — pyramid, pagoda, fortress, well or terraces — and draws a random challenge. Every layout can be solved.

Mahjong connect lays the tiles flat, and a pair is linked by a line with at most two turns. It has 15 levels with the board growing up to 9×12, and the timer is optional, so you can play untimed.

Tips:
1. In solitaire, clear the top layers first.
2. In connect, start from the edges.
3. With four matching tiles, take the pair that frees the most.
4. Save hints for the hardest spot.

How to play:
Solitaire: tap a free tile, then a matching free tile, and the pair disappears. A tile is free if nothing lies on it and its left or right side is open. Clear every tile. No moves left — press Shuffle.
Connect: tap two matching tiles. If a line over empty cells with at most two turns links them (it may run outside the board edge), the pair disappears. When no moves remain, the tiles reshuffle by themselves. The timer is switched on in the menu.

Desktop: click a tile; H — hint, S — shuffle, Z — undo in solitaire.
Phone: tap the tiles and use the Hint, Shuffle, Undo and Fullscreen buttons.
