How to play
You're in command of a spaceship with your home planet right behind you. Asteroids and aliens keep flying in, and your job is to shoot down whatever gets close before it reaches the planet.
It starts out calm, but the difficulty climbs smoothly, and a few minutes in the screen gets crowded. The ship has its own physics and doesn't stop on a dime, so start moving early instead of at the last second. Don't chase every target across the screen: stay near the planet and deal with whatever is closest first. Paying attention matters more than raw speed here.
Controls
Desktop: steer the ship with the mouse.
Phone: use touch. Keep the inertia in mind: the ship drifts a little after each move.
Features
- Defend a planet from asteroids and aliens
- Retro-style graphics
- Ship physics with noticeable momentum
- Smoothly rising difficulty
- Simple rules you'll get in the first minute
Tips
- Stay close to the planet and don't chase every target across the screen.
- Shoot down whatever has got closest to the planet first.
- The ship has real inertia and doesn't stop instantly, so start manoeuvres early rather than at the last moment.
- Difficulty ramps up smoothly, and after a couple of minutes the screen gets crowded. While enemies are few, get used to the controls and find a comfortable position.
- Attention matters more than speed: asteroids and aliens come from different directions, so watch the whole field, not a single spot.
- If the screen gets too crowded, fall back towards the planet and restore your defence before picking off distant targets again.
FAQ
What attacks the planet?
Asteroids and aliens. More of them show up as you play, so the defense gets tougher over time.
Why doesn't the ship respond instantly?
It has its own physics with momentum. Start each maneuver a bit earlier and it becomes much easier to handle.
How do I last longer?
Keep the ship close to the planet and take out the nearest enemies first.
