How to play
A game of Empire runs in two phases. First you gather resources — diamonds above all — and spend them on building and upgrades. Then crowds of zombies march on your tower and you have to hold it, shooting down the attackers.
The game has a day and night cycle, which sets a natural rhythm: build and save up while it's quiet, defend when the assault comes. Don't blow every diamond on looks — a sturdier tower and better defenses pay for themselves, because without them the empire falls. Put the rewards from each defense back into growth and every round gets a bit easier.
Controls
Desktop: use the mouse to pick buildings, upgrades and targets to shoot.
Phone: the same with taps; the game works in either orientation.

Tips
- Use the day–night cycle: while it's quiet, mine diamonds and build; when the assault starts, defend.
- Don't blow all your diamonds on looks: a reinforced tower and upgraded defences pay off, and without them you can't hold the empire.
- Reinvest the rewards from a successful defence into growth — each round gets easier.
- Pick your targets wisely during an attack: the zombies that have got closest to the tower are the most dangerous.
- Remember each round has two phases, and prepare your defences in advance, not when the horde is already at the walls.
- Don't neglect upgrades: the reward and upgrade system grows with your empire, and stronger defences before the next night matter more than new buildings.
