Hangman Word Game

Hangman is the classic word guessing game: find the hidden word letter by letter before you run out of tries. Everything is drawn in blue pen on school squared notebook paper: a gallows and a funny stick figure beside a red margin line. Every miss draws another part of the figure, and the sixth miss ends the round. A letter you have already tried never costs a try.

Play solo or with two players on one device: one types a word of 3 to 8 letters, the other guesses it. Words come from four themes — animals, food, nature and things — and the theme is shown above the tiles. A hint opens one letter, and your wins and losses are saved. You can also switch the look to the Chalkboard or Blueprint themes.

Tips:
1. Start with common letters: E, A, R, I, O, T.
2. Vowels open several slots at once.
3. Use the theme to narrow it down.
4. Save the hint for a long word.
