Block games: cube puzzles, Tetris twists and towers

The cube may be the most versatile shape in games. You can push it, stack it, smash it, dig it up or grind it down, and this collection covers all of those.

Puzzle fans should start with Cube Puzzle: guide a cube to the exit by sliding other cubes in two directions, with the final levels getting genuinely tough. Tetris fans get two options. Tetris: 3030 lets you drop small cube pieces anywhere on the main square, while in Sand Blocks: Clear the Lines landed tetrominoes crumble into sand, so you plan a sand pile rather than neat rows. Block Craft strips a famous sandbox down to its core — digging blocks and upgrading tools — and adds a leaderboard. Voxel Crusher works the other way round, with an industrial crusher breaking models into thousands of voxels.

There are reflex games as well. In Match the Color! your ball keeps changing colour and you have to land on the block that matches it; the developers openly warn that it's hard. You can jump in straight away, with no install and no sign-up.
