Durak

Durak card game is the classic Russian game played with a 36-card deck, here against the computer in your browser. At the table are you and one to three computer players. The last card of the stock sets the trump suit, and whoever holds the lowest trump leads.

Choose the rules in settings: Podkidnoy, where attackers throw in cards of ranks already on the table, or Perevodnoy, where the defender may pass the attack on with a card of the same rank. A hint suggests a sensible move, and your wins are counted.

Tips:
1. Defend with low cards and keep your trumps.
2. Hold pairs of one rank for throwing in.
3. Pass the attack to a player with many cards.
4. If defending costs too much, take the cards.
5. Once the stock runs out, play bolder.

How to play:
The goal is not to be the last player left with cards. Attack with any card; the defender beats it with a higher card of the same suit or a trump. Cannot beat it? Press Take and pick up the cards. Throw in cards of ranks already on the table, and press Done when everything is beaten. In Perevodnoy mode a card of the same rank passes the attack to the next player. After each round everyone draws back up to six cards.
